I started working at Waxing.com when I was 18 and I’ve never worked anywhere else since. (I’m 84 now!). I’ve grown with the company and it’s been really cool becoming one of the pillars that has made us so successful.
We literally get people from all walks of life visiting the salon and it’s great to know we’re having a worthwhile effect on their lives.
I believe excellent customer service is key, if you’re friendly and helpful, you can turn any situation into a positive experience for your clients.

I’ve never worked in such a busy, sociable environment before. It means that every day is different and I love that, I love the fast pace and in the blink of an eye, the day is over. I’m the newest person to join the team and I think I only felt like ‘the new girl’ for about 35 minutes!

My favourite thing here is probably my actual working environment. The reception area is so funky and different! People come in all the time literally just to say hi and find out more about us and what we do. It’s so cool chatting to so many different people.

I worked at Waxing.com years ago and loved it, I only left as my family were moving overseas but now I’m back and it’s better than ever!

Doing this job means I get to meet and chat to people from all walks of life and I love that. I love listening to their stories and telling them mine, it’s amazing how much you can learn from somebody in such a short period of time.

I believe eyebrows are an art form and luckily for us they’re my speciality. Your eyes are the first thing a person notices about you and under my care, I can make sure you leave a lasting impression on people.

Waxing is very satisfying to me as I can see an immediate result. It is also a very social job and it’s so great to just chat away whilst working. I especially love it when I’m waxing a likeminded client and we can discuss all things gamer!! I’m a massive fan of Resident Evil and Fallout4.

I never know if it’s me being a bit of a silly one but I just laugh all day long in this job. Our clients are so funny and so much fun to hang out with during their treatment. Sometimes i can be chatting away and I feel disappointed that the treatments over and we can’t carry on with our conversation!

I like coming to work in a company that doesn’t cut corners. Everything we do, we do it to a 100% and that gives me a great sense of pride and accomplishment. Of course sometimes things don’t go according to plan, but that’s why I believe life is a divine chaos and we should embrace it.

When I go out shopping or socialising, I really notice how I feel if I’m treated abruptly or rudely and it’s made me work so much harder to ensure I never ever make a client feel this way. Customer care is my number one priority.
